DYLEUTH

Ben Dyleuth is a vocalist, educator, and multidisciplinary artist whose work explores voice, performance, and cultural inheritance. His practice is informed by classical vocal training, community-based arts education, and contemporary sound and visual media.

He is a graduate of St. Olaf College, where he studied voice and choral conducting. His early work with ensembles such as the St. Olaf Choir and VocalEssence established a foundation in choral tradition, ensemble listening, and disciplined vocal practice, which continues to shape his compositional and performance approach.

Ben has performed, taught, and led workshops across the United States and internationally. Recent work includes guest teaching in Taipei, Taiwan, participation in the Artists of Color Expo and Symposium at KEXP in Seattle, and community music programming developed in collaboration with Seattle Parks and Recreation. His educational work centers access, shared authorship, and music as a civic practice.

Under the artist name DYLEUTH, he creates genre-fluid music blending soul, experimental rock, and cinematic production. His recent releases, Swimming West (2022) and ALL THE GOLD’S GONE (2025), examine ambition, visibility, and the tension between performance and lived experience.

Alongside his artistic practice, Ben has contributed to creative and cultural initiatives with organizations including r.Cup, CLIF Bar, and Bon Iver’s 2 A Billion campaign, as well as Lao-centered projects such as Laos in the House and Legacies of War. Across disciplines, his work uses art as a tool for inquiry, connection, and cultural continuity.
